Die besten MP3 Player mit FLAC Unterstützung

Wie auch Bier in der Dose werden MP3's relativ günstig verkauft, aber die Qualität ist manchmal echt mies. Wenn Sie zu den Leuten gehören die Musik genießen möchten und nicht nur nebenbei als Ablenkung Musikhören, dann ist ein verlustfreies Archiv der beste Weg. Zuhause am PC funktioniert das Abspielen von FLAC und anderen verlustfreien Audioformaten relativ einfach. Ist man allerdings Unterwegs und dadurch gezwungen einen portablen Multimediaplayer zu nutzen ist die Auswahl an Playern die FLAC unterstützten sehr eng. Der FLAC Codec komprimiert Audio CD's auf ca. 30 - 70 Prozent der Größe, während MP3 die Daten auf ca. ein 10tel der Größe einstampft. Mit wachsenden Festplattengrößen ist dieser zusätzliche Speicherbedarf der verlustfrei komprimierten Audiodaten aber für immer mehr Menschen kein Problem mehr.

Der Samsung Galaxy Player 5.0 läuft mit dem Android Betriebssystem 2.3.5 alias Gingerbread und besitzt eine Speicherkapazität von 8 GB, dieser Speicher lässt sich mit einer Micro SD-Karte um weitere 32 GB erweitern, insgesamt stehen dem Nutzer somit beinahe 40 GB Speicher für Apps, Musik und Filme, Fotos und Co. zur Verfügung. Auf 40 GB lassen sich durchaus um die 100 Alben im FLAC Format abspeichern. Aber auch für Videos ist genug Platz vorhanden. Das 5 Zoll große Display macht beim Abpsielen von Videos viel her.

Da der Galaxy Player 5.0 mit dem Android Betriebssytem ausgestattet ist lassen sich viele Funktionen über Apps aus dem Google Play Store nachrüsten.

Auch Sony's neue Walkman Modelle setzen auf das Android Betriebssystem. Der Sony NWZF806B Walkman ist mit dem Android 4.0 alias Ice Cream Sandwich Betriebssystem ausgestattet und unterstützt ebenfalls das Abspielen von FLAC Audio Dateien. Sony's Walkman ist in den Größen 16 bzw. 32 GB erhältlich. Sony's Walkman hat einen 3,5 Zoll großen Touchscreen. Für das Abspielen von Videos kann dies schon etwas klein sein. Die Displaygröße ist vergleichbar mit dem iPhone 4S. Auch diesen Player können Sie mit Apps aus dem Google Play Store erweitern. Im Gegensatz zum Galaxy Player von Samsung lässt sich der Speicher des Walkman nicht via SD-Karte erweitern.

Das Archos 5 Internet Tablet ist der Multimedia-Player für all jene die viel Speicher benötigen. Der Player ist nämlich mit einer 160 GB großen Festplatte ausgestattet. Das Display ist 4,8 Zoll groß, dieser ist bestens geeignet zum Betrachten von HD Videos mit einer Auflösung von bis zu 1280 x 720 Pixel. Natürlich unterstützt auch das Archos 5 Internet Tablet das Abspielen der verlustfrei komprimierten FLAC Dateien. Auf 160 GB lässt sich so sogar eine mittlere Musiksammlung im FLAC Format leicht abspeichern.

Nützlicher Audioplayer für Hörbücher

Von den Machen von MP3 Direct Cut ist ein neues Programm erschienen das ich gerne vorstellen möchte. 1by1 ist ein Audioplayer der vom Design her Ihnen ähnlich wie Foobar20000 ist. Der Player speichert beim Beenden des Programmes die letzte Abspielposition und kann beim Neustart genau an dieser wieder ansetzen. Dies ist ein nützliches Feature vor allem bei Liebhabern von Hörbüchern. Beim Abspielen von Hörbüchern ist außerdem noch die Gapless-Play Funktion zu erwähnen. Durch diese wird erreicht dass zwischen den einzelnen Titeln keine Pause auftritt.

The player saves your current song position if you close it an can retrive the position after you start the software again. USB Stick mit Samsung Galaxy S3 verbinden

Ich habe mir letzte Woche ein USB-OTG (USB-On-The-Go) Kabel zum Verbinden von USB-Speichersticks mit meinem Galaxy S3 Smartphone besorgt. Ich muss sagen das funktioniert wunderbar. Allerdings muss man beachten, dass der USB-Stick im FAT32 Format formatiert sein muss damit dieser auf Android erkannt wird. (Es soll zwar auch Apps geben die das Lesen von NTFS ermöglichen, allerdings hatte ich bisher noch keinen Erfolg damit, für App-Tipps zum Auslesen von NTFS Sticks bin ich dankbar). Sogar das Abspielen von Musik und Filmen direkt vom USB-Stick funktioniert ohne Probleme. Das Öffnen von Dokumenten natürlich ebenfalls.
