Meine derzeitige Homescreen Konfiguration (Android 4.1.1 auf Galaxy S3)

Nachdem ich mir die Homescreens einiger Freunde angesehen habe und mein altes Design einfach schon viel zu oft gesehen habe, bin ich zu dem Schluss gekommen dass ich die Oberfläche meines  Smartphones wieder einmal nach meinen Bedürfnissen aufzumotzen sollte.  Mit wenig Aufwand habe ich nun eine für mich sehr komfortable Lösung gefunden die auch optisch etwas hergibt. Diese Oberfläche möchte ich euch nicht vorenthalten.

Zur Konfiguration, ich selbst habe ein Samsung Galaxy S3 mit Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean auf dem Gerät laufen. Zur Personalisierung der Oberfläche verwende ich Go Launcher EX. Nachdem ich mehrere verschiedene Themes ausprobiert habe bin ich beim kostenlosen Theme Mr.z Go LauncherEX Theme classic Version 1.0 hängengeblieben.

Zusätzlich zu diesem Theme habe ich mir die App MinimalisticText heruntergeladen um die Unterschiedlichen Seiten meines Homescreens zu benennen. So habe ich ein Textwidget als Überschrift für jede Seite festgelegt ( Home, Kommunikation, Medien). Unter Home habe ich eine Wetter und Uhrzeit Widget sowie die Google Suche und ein Assistenz Licht Widget für die Taschenlampenfunktion platziert, außerdem befindet sich hier jeweils ein Schnellzugriff auf die Kamera und den Play Store. In  Sektion Kommunikation habe ich alle Apps mit denen ich mit anderen Menschen kommuniziere zusammengefasst. (Google Mail, Google Plus, GMX Mail, WhatsApp, Nachrichten-App, Telefon und Google Chrome Browser). In der Sektion Medien fällt sofort das große Widget für den MP3-Player auf.

Die Open-Source-Software Songbird die von Mozilla entwickelt wurde, ist Browser und Mediaplayer zugleich.

Die Software unterstützt die wichtigsten Audio- und Videoformate. Aber auch das Design des Players kann mittels sogenannten Feathers (Skins) an die eigenen Bedürfnisse angepasst werden. Neben der Abspiel-Software für Mediendateien, die auf dem eigenen PC gespeichert sind lässt sich Songbird auch als Browser sowie Onlinemedienplayer verwenden.
