Videos konvertieren mit HandBrake

Mit der Open Source Software HandBrake wandeln Sie Videos die Sie beispielsweise von einer nicht kopiergeschützten DVD kopiert, oder von Youtube heruntergeladen haben in ein anderes Format Ihrer Wahl um. So können über sogenannte Presets Videos in das richtige Format für iPhone, iPod, iPad oder für Android Smartphone codiert werden. Außerdem ermöglicht die Software ein konvertieren von Videos in das Xvid oder MP4-Format. Mit der Bitrate, Bildgröße und dem Audioformat haben Sie außerdem noch Einfluss auf die Ausgabegröße der zu erstellenden Datei. Bei der Bitrate können Sie noch wählen ob Sie eine konstante oder eine variable Bitrate bevorzugen.
